Streaming Museum collaborates with Zayed University School of Art and Design, Dean, Janet Bellotto in curating and producing exhibitions of international and Middle Eastern artists in Dubai and Venice.
ISEA 2014
In November 2014, Streaming Museum partnered in the ISEA2014 Dubai conference and exhibitions with Zayed University, the Dubai Convention Bureau and a range of cultural and creative partners in the Middle East. The theme of the program is Dubai is the LOCATION where Art, Science and Technology Come Together.
Dubai is a location with exquisite contradictions. Its location not only provides a place with world-renowned architecture, but also boasts its development along the waters, its original trading ground. For presenters and attendees of ISEA, it will be an experience like no other. Dubai is in a location, where everything around it is going through massive change—socially and politically.
In partnership with ISEA2014 Dubai – the 20th International Symposium on Electronic Art, the Streaming Museum presented the following video program for the SIKKA Art Fair in Dubai 2013, March 14 to 24.

Revelation Jeremy Blake, Jenny Marketou, Yorgo Alexopoulos, Marty St. James March 17, 20, 24 Streaming Museum is exhibiting a collection of artwork in public spaces by international, Emirati and Dubai-based artists during ISEA2014 Dubai, and as a prelude to this event is presenting a series of three exhibitions at the Sikka Art Fair, March 14 – 25, 2013.
In the heart of the historical district at the creek, SIKKA is a confluence of outdoor film, cultural walks, exhibitions, workshops, live music, and more. As an annual event during Art Week Dubai, the SIKKA Art Fair “strengthens Dubai’s artistic infrastructure, builds audiences and drives original content creation by inspiring the creative community,” according to the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.
As this year coincides with the opening of the biennial in Sharjah, there are various cross programmings which bring a diverse audiences to the neighbourhoods where these contemporary events are occurring.
Streaming Museum’s exhibition series of contemporary international artists, will take place at the Beit Al Khatt House. This is located in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, and is part of the SIKKA exhibition programming. The house is located in Courtyard D, and in close proximity to Tashkeel’s House – Gallery and Artist Residence. The space is interactive and the screenings will occur from 8:45 to 9:45 according to this schedule:
Art Dubai Week - Contemporary Crosscurrents: Portraits and Electronic Arts, sponsored by Emaar Corporation
Streaming Museum presented Contemporary Crosscurrents: Portraits and Electronic Arts, March 16 – April 9, 2010, coinciding with Art Dubai Week. The exhibition was sponsored by the Emaar Corporation.
Contemporary Crosscurrents was produced in collaboration of curators and artists from Dubai – The Third Line, Zayed University, American University Dubai and Tashkeel; Streaming Museum, New York; and Art Center Nabi, Seoul, Korea.
Contemporary Crosscurrents signifies the fertile exchange between cultures that has taken place throughout history, and moreover, the role that technology is playing as it increasingly enables the potential of this exchange and broad and profound changes to global society.

Streaming Museum has collaborated with Zayed University School of Art and Design, Dean, Janet Bellotto in exhibitions taking place in Dubai and Venice.
The museum exhibited a collection of artwork by international, Emirati and Dubai-based artists during Art Dubai week, at the Sikka Art Fair, March 14 – 25, 2013. This was a prelude to Streaming Museum’s collaboration in the 20th International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA2014) staged for the first time in the Middle East, with the over arching theme of “Location”. ISEA2014 will be hosted by Zayed University, the Dubai Convention Bureau and a range of cultural and creative partners in the Middle East.
